First Step to Fitness - Knowing Your Body! (Whey King U EP 1)

 

Hey Everyone! Welcome to the 1st episode of WHEY KING U!

Getting the most improvement in our body is what everybody wants; whether it's improvement on our physical appearance or in our overall health. 

The first thing we need to understand before we go to any diet or workout plan is that

"Not everybody has the same body type." People really do come from all shapes and sizes.

In this episode we’re gonna cover an extremely important topic; The 3 main body types.

3 main body types - for fitness

Think of it as 3 categories, one of these categories will describe your body a whole lot better than the other two.

We can identify the shape and size that you're at by certain characteristics and apply certain training principles that are proven over time to work, to move you towards your desired body shape.

To give us a better understanding about this topic we have experts to explain the difference between Ectomorph, Endomorph and Mesomorph.

  1. Know your goals – What is your goal? What exactly do you want to achieve?
  2. Set realistic expectations - Set how much you can give or sustain.
  3. Understand where you at right now -
  4. Understanding the 3 Main Body types? – Since we already have an idea of where you at right now, let’s talk about your body type.
  5. What is the difference between the 3 body types?
  6. What are the advantages and dis-advantages of each body type?
  7. Why is it important to know your body type?

So that’s it for today; What do you think? Are you an ectomorph, endomorph or mesomorph? The great thing is that no matter what body type you have, by eating better every day and sticking to a good activity regime you’re on your way to the healthiest you.

Now that we have a clear understanding about the 3 body types,

Keep in mind that you can easily be a combination of any two types. You could be an Endomorph-Mesomorph, Ectomorph-Mesomorph and vice-versa. But, the intention of this video was to give a brief idea about various body types so that you can target your fitness goals accordingly.

So now that we have identified which body type are you, we'll now proceed to our recommended Training program for each body type which we will discuss on our next episode.
